Hasn't this been there for a while? The catch of course is that the feed just says "foo wrote on your wall" (or whatever), and you have to click through to see the detail.At least the "friends' status updates" feed contains the actual status.
I hadn't noticed it before, but it's certainly possible. I noticed the status feed as well, but that bores me frankly lol.Your right about the notification feed though, how it drives you back to facebook and doen't give you any real useful informaion.
